Privacy Policy

Presently (“App”) is provided by Michael Scott (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We respect your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1) What We Collect
- App data you add (e.g., breathing usage, grounding steps, meditations played, optional notes, mood/symptom entries). These are stored on your device by default. If you enable cloud backup/sync, entries may be stored with your platform account (e.g., iCloud) per your settings.
- Optional account data (only if you create an account): name, email, and hashed identifiers.
- Purchase data for in-app purchases/subscriptions is processed by Apple. We receive non-financial purchase receipts/identifiers to unlock features.
- Diagnostics (app crashes, performance) to improve reliability.
- Analytics (optional): anonymized usage events to understand features being used. You can opt out in Settings.
2) How We Use Data
- Provide core features (timers, meditations, tracking, reminders).
- Process and validate purchases and subscriptions.
- Improve the App, fix bugs, and prevent abuse.
- Send service emails (account, receipts) and, with consent, product tips. You may opt out at any time.
3) Data Storage & Retention
By default, your entries are stored locally on your device. If you turn on platform backup/sync (e.g., iCloud), your data may be stored with that provider under your account. We retain account info (if any) while your account is active and as required by law. You can delete entries in the app and/or request deletion (see section 9).
4) Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share only with:
- Service providers that process diagnostics/analytics or deliver emails, under confidentiality agreements.
- Apple for in-app purchases and subscriptions.
- Law enforcement if required by applicable law.
5) Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the age required in your region). If you believe a child provided personal data, contact us to remove it.
6) Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. No method is 100% secure; please keep your device and passcodes safe.
7) Your Rights
Depending on your region (e.g., GDPR/CCPA), you may request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal data and to opt out of analytics/marketing. We will not discriminate for exercising your rights.
8) International Transfers
We may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we use approved transfer mechanisms.
9) Account & Data Deletion
- If the App has accounts: You can delete your account in Settings > Account > Delete Account. This permanently removes personal data we control (subject to legal retention).
- If no accounts: You can clear local data in Settings > Reset Data. You may also email us to request deletion of any server-side data (e.g., support emails or purchase metadata).
10) Third-Party Links
External resources may have their own privacy practices. Review those policies when you leave the App.
11) Changes to This Policy
We will update this policy as needed and post the new date above. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email (if you have an account).
